Belton Museum Hosts Tribute To Grace Company - May 19th
The Belton Museum is paying tribute to the Grace Company on May 19th, at 10:30am with a baby shower. The Grace Company was an internationally known maker of children's clothing that was originally based on Belton's Main Street. Their first home was in the old city hall, now the Belton Museum.
 
The shower is a benefit for Life Choice in Harrisonville. Life Choice is a non profit pregnancy resource center and medical center for women facing crisis pregnancies. Please bring baby wipes, large sized diapers, and spring clothing in sizes preemie through size 4. Contact Norma at 816-331-1905 for more details.
Belton City Wide Garage Sale
May 19th
The annual Belton City Wide Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, May 19th. Applications may be picked up at City Hall, 506 Main Street or the Chamber of Commerce Office at 323 Main. To have your garage sale placed on the map, a fee of $5 must be submitted by May 9th. Contact Kathy at 816-331-8866 for more details.
Stacks Youth Project to Hold Fundraiser - May 18th & 19th
Stacks youth Project will be holding a Fundraising Garage Sale as part of the Belton Citywide event. The sale will be held at 515 D Street, just behind the CVS Pharmacy. Donations fo good used merchandise is currently being accepted. Contact Stacks Depot, 311 Main Street for more information.
May Car Cruise, Saturday May 26th
The South 71 Cruisers and Main Street Merchants will host this month's Car cruise on Saturday, May 26th. Cars will start arriving at 3:00pm and be on display until dark. Music from the "King" Elvis Presley will be playing throughout the event. Many shops and restaraunts will be open late. Enjoy an evening of fun on Belton's Historic Main Street.
Belton Fall Festival Dates Set
for Sept. 14-15
The dates have been set for the annual Belton Fall Festival on Main Street. Mark your calendars for Sept. 14-15, 2012. More information will be provided in upcoming months. The event is sponsored by Downtown Belton Main Street, Inc.
