Next Cruise Night Set for
Sat. May 25th
Last month was a bit rainy for the kickoff, but the cars will be back on Main Street for this month's Car Cruise, May 25th. The streets will be filled with hundreds of classic, vintage, antique and muscle cars. Continuing until late in the fall, the Main Street cruise will be held every fourth Saturday of the month. Sponsored by the South 71 Cruisers and Downtown Main Street Revitilization, Inc. this event is one of the largest cruises in the area. Cars will start arriving around 3:00p and be on display until around dark. Many shops and diners will be open late for the cruise. The event is open to the public and there is no charge.
Garage Sale / Donations Needed
Stacks Youth Project is seeking donations for their 5th Annual Garage Sale Fundraiser. Donations may be dropped off from May 13-17 at 311 Main Street in downtown Belton. Items needed include gently used clothing, CDs, DVDs, books, furniture, electronics, household items and other quality items. Stacks Youth Project is a 501c3 non profit organization and donations are tax deductible. Their mission is Empowering Teens to Achieve Their Dreams. The Garage Sale will be held from Wednesday, May 15th to Saturday, May 17th. Plenty of great merchandise has already been donated and more is coming in each day. The Garage Sale will be held at 515 D Street, in Belton (just west of CVS Pharmacy.)
City Wide Garage Sales - May 18th
Belton's City Wide Garage Sale has been scheduled for Saturday, May 18th. More information will be available soon.
2013 Belton Fall Festival Dates Announced
Large crowds took advantage of the fantastic weather during last year's Belton Fall Festival. Over 85 vendors lined Main Street for the event.
The dates have been set for the 2013 Fall Festival. Mark your calendars for Sept. 13-14, 2013. More information will be available at http://www.beltonfallfestival.com. The event is sponsored by Downtown Belton Main Street, Inc.
